Note: | It appears that the artist mistitled the painting. While there is a Mount Baker in British Columbia, it is tree-covered. There is a snow-capped Mount Baker in Washington state which can be seen in the distance from southern British Columbia, but the rather loosely sketched profile of the mountain in the painting more closely resembles that of Mount Hood as viewed from Hood River. |
