Description: | A snow-covered mountain, pink from the setting sun, stands in the center above a wide river valley that curves back to the right. On the left side of the river are a snag, a boulder, and a forest in which the two nearest tall conifers are silhouetted against the sky; rising behind the forest is a dark mountain. The right side of the river is also forested; behind the forest is the slope of another mountain. (From a color photograph.) |
