Description: | A four-point buck and a doe stand on a point extending into a lake or slowly moving river, against a backdrop of rugged mountains at the center and right and a conifer forest on the left. The more distant mountains in the center have traces of snow on the tops, while the nearer range on the right consists of steep cliffs rising above the opposite bank. A snag lies on the flat left bank in the foreground; beyond it is a small cove and beyond that a large rock outcrop, sloping down to the left. (From a color photograph.) |
