Description: | A brownish path leads from the shadowed foreground past a sunny spot and over a ridge, presumably to lead down to the valley below. The clearing on both sides of the path is a grassy green gentle slope up to the right, with wildflowers and small rocks in abundance. Behind to the right is Bridalveil Fall, while El Capitan stands to the left, beyond a rocky, sparsely treed slope. In the background a series of rocky cliffs fills in the horizon through the haze. A blue-silver river winds through the valley below; the sky is light blue. (From a color photograph.) |
