Description: | Two figures (fishing?), one standing and the other sitting on the right bank of a river, look across at an encampment in a green clearing on the left bank. The snow-covered Three Sisters stand in the background against a bright blue sky; wisps of clouds, the snowcaps, the tops of several intermediate ridges, and a reddish cliff that stands above the left bank are bathed coral by the sun setting off the canvas to the right. Behind the onlookers is a large white rock with a fallen tree trunk suspended on its rear flank; farther up the slope on the right three tall conifers reach above a high cliff in the background to the sky.
