| Description: | The greyish-blue outline of Sentinel rock stands slightly to the right of center against a white cloud in a blue-white sky.  In the distance to the left are cliffs; to the right is a steep slope and, almost obscuring it, a nearby slope covered with trees.  At the left edge of the painting a river flows by with a few trees in the distance on the far bank.  A boulder in the lower center has several dead branches scattered around it; wildflowers grow below.  (From a color photograph.) |
