| Site: | The Pacific Ocean, looking South towards Cypress Point, near Monterey, California. |
| Description: | Gentle surf rolls in from the ocean on the right. A large, layered, grey rock formation stands in the center with white rocks to its left. On the left are two large Monterey Cypress trees, and a dead tree swoops up from the lower left. Another dead tree lies on the rocks at the left. Atop the rock formation is a lone cypress; above distant white cliffs are seen several more cypress trees. The cliffs continue along the ocean's edge to the horizon. The sky is blue-white and hazy. (From a color photograph.) |
| Note: | The composition is almost identical to that of Midway Point, Monterey. |
