| Description: | A view through a stand of tall flowers, over a slough, and then across a green field on which stand four cows (?) against brown shrubbery in the distance; a grey hill rises to the right to form a backdrop. A bushy tree fills the right edge and divides a grey skey at the top from a bluer but still cloudy sky below. (From a color photograph.) |
| Note: | The 20 January 2008 sale catalog reports "titled and inscribed 'California' on the reverse". This report may indicate that the verso inscription is actually "Spring on Alameda Point, California". |
