Description: "…a small camp and lean-to at the bottom with a fireplace in the middle…smoke from the hunters' lean-to wends its way up through…a dark background of trees and full moon at the top." (owner's description)
Note: 1. The painting spent many years rolled up in an outdoor storage shed. When unrolled it was found to be in poor condition. 2. This painting may be the studio version of the much smaller Hunters camp [2].
Legend: Said to be a circa 1965 gift from a client.
