Description: A snow-covered mountain peak is bathed pink by setting or rising sun against a blue sky. Below the mountain a several forested ridges, in the foreground a river runs directly toward the viewer. Two tall conifers stand at the right side, reaching above the peaks; a tall tree has fallen across the stream from the left; its top lies amid boulders on the right side. (From a color photograph.)
Note: According to William K. Dick, this painting was irreparably damaged in an accident during cleaning and has since been destroyed.
