Note: This is one of eight newspaper reports about a painting of La Grange Dam that Schafer was commissioned to prepare for a San Joaquin Valley Counties Association exhibit at the 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition in San Francisco. Although it does not mention Schafer by name, it identifies which of two dam exhibits is intended to include the painting and in which building that exhibit is to appear.
